Our young midfielder was involved in a sickening clash of heads with Sunderland’s Kevin Kilbane on Saturday.
Ledley tried to continue after the fifth-minute incident but looked out of sorts and was substituted 10 minutes later.
Boss Glenn Hoddle insisted: “Ledley will be struggling to make that game. He was sore and concussed and not quite sure what was going on.
“It was our second in a week with Steffen Iversen as well and he is also struggling.
“I don’t think we’ll have anyone from the treatment room coming back. The injury situation doesn’t get any easier but it’s a good chance for our youngsters to show us, under pressure, what they can do.
“If we show the character and performance that we showed at Sunderland, especially in the second half, then we can achieve things.”
Ledley King is struggling to recover for the much-anticipated visit of Chelsea on Tuesday night.
