Ledley King underwent a successful arthroscopy on his left knee last night (Monday).
The defender is expected to rest for up to 10 days before progressing to full activity within a further 10 days.

Ledley King certainly experienced highs and lows at City - just one defeat in 11 visits to Maine Road and the Etihad Stadium between 2001-2010, including the match that clinched a place in the Champions League in May, 2010, but then successive losses later in his career, including conceding a last-minute penalty on his last visit in 2012! He knows this fixture inside-out and is full of confidence ahead of this evening's huge game...

Ledley King was there when both Danny Rose and Kyle Walker first walked through the door at Spurs. He could see something special in both players back then, and now takes great pride in describing the pair as ‘two of the best full-backs around’, highlighted by their performances in England’s 3-0 win against Scotland on Friday.
