Martin Jol reports that Ledley King will be out for three to four weeks with the groin injury he sustained on Boxing Day.

The skipper and central defender hobbled out of the 2-0 win against Birmingham City at the Lane and having missed Wednesday night's loss at West Brom, is set to sit out Newcastle, Manchester City, the FA Cup tie at Leicester City and has to be touch and go for the big Premiership clash against Liverpool at Anfield on January 14.

Head Coach Martin said on Thursday: "It's a groin strain and that always costs you three to four weeks.

"It's a big blow and I've always said it's difficult to replace Ledley King but we have Noe Pamarot, Anthony Gardner and Noureddine Naybet so it shouldn't be a problem."
