Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Ledley King was outstanding as England Under-21s beat Germany in Friday night's European Championship qualifier in Freiburg.

An injury time goal from Francis Jeffers secured a thrilling 2-1 win after Christoph Metzelder levelled Joe Cole's opener in the last minute.

Former boss Peter Taylor, a pundit on Sky Sports, picked Ledley as his man of the match, describing him as 'first class'.

And manager David Platt was also full of praise. Platt said: "Stuart Taylor did exceptionally well and it was just a shame that he didn't keep a clean sheet because his performance deserved it.

"I was delighted with Joe Cole. He was a constant threat to them and Ledley King was magnificent at the back. Gareth Barry was also good."
