The stylish defender was a rock at the back at Chelsea on Saturday in the absence of Dean Richards and early departure of Anthony Gardner.
Tipped for the very top, Ledley earned his first England cap last term only for an Achilles problem to end his season early.
He then suffered a hip injury in the summer that forced him out of our pre-season programme and kept him sidelined until November.
Ledley has played every game since and was outstanding in Dean's absence at Stamford Bridge in Saturday's 1-1 draw.
"That was the consistent level he reached last season," said boss Glenn afterwards.
"He had a terrible hip problem to get over in the summer, missed all of pre-season and the start of the season but he's now slowly getting back to his very best."
Glenn Hoddle is convinced Ledley King is slowly getting back to his best.
