Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Ledley King has been forced to withdraw from the England under-21 squad to face Holland at Reading on Tuesday evening.

Ledley suffered a slight ankle strain during the pre-season friendly game against AEK Athens and pulls out of the squad along with Coventry goalkeeper Chris Kirkland, who picked up a knock in training, and Newcastle striker Shola Ameobi.

FA spokesman Adrian Bevington confirmed: "Ledley and Shola were carrying problems that they had picked up with their
clubs prior to meeting up and it was decided that the pair should pull out following discussions with Tottenham and Newcastle."

Meanwhile, the reserves' pre-season visit to Dagenham and Redbridge, scheduled for Monday evening, will now be played on Tuesday August 14, kick-off 7.45.
