Ledley King is on his way back - and Harry Redknapp is hoping he will return to action over the Christmas period.
The defender returned to training in the snow at Spurs Lodge this afternoon (Friday, December 18) after missing our last six games initially with a hamstring problem, then a knee injury.
Boss Harry reported this morning: "Ledley's training today and should be fit for the Christmas period.
"He's been out, Jonathan Woodgate's been out but Michael Dawson and Sebastien Bassong have been in fine form for us.
"Michael has been magnificent. I made him captain again against City and he led from the front.
"Ledley's such an important player for us though and when he's fit, he's one of the best in the country.
"He won't play in both games over Christmas (Fulham on Boxing Day, West Ham on Decemeber 28) because he won't play twice in three days, but hopefully we'll get a game out of him."
