Martin Jol reports that Ledley King has a chance of returning to action in the friendly matches scheduled as part of our training camp in France.

The skipper has been a regular visitor to Spurs Lodge over the summer and is progressing well after fracturing a metatarsal against Everton on April 15.

That injury ruled him out of the crucial final four matches of the Premiership campaign and England’s World Cup squad.

But he’s up and running and playing a full part in pre-season. “Ledley has done everything,†said boss Martin after training on Friday.

“We haven’t taken a risk with him in the matches during the training sessions but he’s done all the running work and ball work. I think he has a chance of playing 90 minutes out in France.â€Â

We play three friendlies in France – here they are…

Thu 13 July v Bordeaux at Stade Olympique d'Albertville.
Fri 14 Jul v OGC Nice at Stade Municipal d'Evian.
Tue 18 Jul v Celta Vigo at Stade Municipal d'Annecy.

Prices are 15 Euros and 10 Euros. All matches kick-off at 7pm local time (6pm UK). There is no advance ticketing facility, tickets can be obtained on arrival at the stadiums.
