Ledley King says there was 'never a dull moment' when Rohan Ricketts was at Spurs.
Football's great wanderer returns to White Hart Lane this evening as we take on Shamrock Rovers in our second group match of the Europa League.
Rohan, now 28, made 36 appearances in all competitions for us between 2002-05, scoring twice.
After departing N17 for Wolves in 2005, the midfielder plied his trade at QPR, Barnsley, Toronto, Diosgyori VTK in Hungary, FC Dacia Chisinau in Moldova and SV Wilhelmshaven in Germany before joining Rovers in the summer.
"Rohan was such a bubbly character and got on with everyone," said Ledley, there all the way throughout Rohan's time at the club.
"He loved his football, that’s for sure. He was passionate about playing the game and wanted to express himself whenever he got the chance.
"He had ability. He could play anywhere across the midfield and did well in the time he was here and in the games he played.
"He had to move on in the end and he’s found it difficult to settle, but he’s at Shamrock Rovers now and hopefully he’ll get on with playing football again.
"I’m sure he’ll be looking forward to returning to White Hart Lane to show his talents again."
