Ledley King describes our under-18 team reaching the semi-finals of the FA Youth Cup as a 'real achievement'.
Pat Holland's side take on Ipswich Town tonight in the semi-final first leg at Portman Road and the club skipper - who plans to be at the 2nd leg next Wednesday - is full of admiration for the boys who have seen off the challenge of Nottingham Forest, Liverpool, Everton and Watford so far.
"Having played in the competition before myself, I realise what a tough stage it is and there are some good sides out there," reasoned Ledley. "The young lads have done fantastically to get this far.
"My team considered ourselves a good side and we never got as far - so it is a real achievement. I'll be at the home game and I wish them good luck."
The form of central defenders Leigh Mills and Charlie Lee has provided the foundation of this Youth Cup run and Ledley admits he will be looking over his shoulder in the years to come.
"I've heard and I'll be keeping an eye out for them."
