Ledley King is back in training and hopes the international break sees to it that he misses no more of our games.
The skipper has been absent so far this season with a groin problem and, while he is understandably not too keen on being unavailable for England squads, the near two-week domestic gap works in his favour in terms of club football.
"I'm not bad, in the last couple of days I have got back into training and done about 45 minutes each day," he reported. "It has gone well, I expected to feel something, but there is nothing I can't manage at the moment.
"The break buys me a bit of time and hopefully it will mean I don't miss another game. Now is the time to get it right and make sure I come back strong - that is what I am going to do."
Meanwhile, Ledley added he has found watching games from the sidelines something of an experience after being a Premiership ever-present last term.
"Having played every game last season it was strange to be sitting behind the bench hearing Martin and Chris on the side. It has been quite difficult to watch the game but I try to support the boys as much as I can."
