Ledley, Alton called up

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Ledley King and Alton Thelwell are back in the England Under-21 squad.

Both were named by boss David Platt in a 24-man squad on Friday for European Championship qualifiers away to Germany on Friday and against Albania at Middlesbrough on Tuesday week (September 4).

Ledley, outstanding so far this term, will aim for his eighth cap after missing out on the last squad because of injury.

Alton, yet to feature in the Premiership this season, is recalled to the squad after winning his only cap against Spain last season.
