English Barclays Premiership

Tuesday's trip to Griffin Park may have arrived a fraction too early for our players on the comeback trail.

Chris Armstrong, Willem Korsten, Jose Dominguez, Ledley King and Anthony Gardner are back in full training after injury - Armstrong, Korsten and Dominguez have played in a reserve match - but manager George Graham insists they need more fitness work before returning.

The boss has one big decision and that is whether or not to recall Chris Perry in place of Ramon Vega in defence.

These matches are often used by teams to give squad players a run out but the likes of Stephen Clemence, Matthew Etherington and Simon Davies may be left disappointed as Graham is expected to field a full-strength side.

Brentford are likely to stick with the team that grabbed a point against Millwall on Saturday. They are without Lloyd Owusu (shoulder) and Paul Gibbs (broken leg).

Meanwhile, back on the injury front at Spurs, both Darren Anderton and Luke Young are progressing well.

Young's foot is not broken as initially feared and his temporary cast has been removed while Anderton trained lightly with the first team on Monday.
