Leo's magnificent header from Sergei Rebrov's cross put us ahead in the 39th minute after Steffen Iversen and Stephen Carr had both gone close.
Mark Summerbell levelled in the second half only for Les Ferdinand to have a goal disallowed with time running out. It ended 1-1.
"I'm delighted to be playing," said Leo at the time. "I had a lot of injury problems last season so it's great to be back in there and even better to score a goal. It was a great cross from Sergei Rebrov and I just jumped in front of Curtis Fleming and headed towards goal."
