Erik wants good home form to continue against Villa

Posted on 10 April 2015  - 17:22

Erik Lamela is looking for another positive performance at White Hart Lane on Saturday.

We host Aston Villa in our latest top flight outing, with the visitors in need of maximum points to boost their battle against relegation.

But having scored 11 goals in our last four Premier League home games – and with the placings in the upper reaches of the table certainly not a foregone conclusion – our players are sure to be equally as feverish in pursuit of victory.

“We have the firepower in our team to win and, in front of our fans at White Hart Lane, I’m confident we can beat Aston Villa,” said Erik, a second half substitute for Nacer Chadli in last Sunday’s 0-0 draw at Burnley.

“I hope we can do well against them. It was not a good game for us against Burnley last week but we can change that this weekend.

“I hope we can win so that we can finish the season well. We need to play very aggressively and try to get the three points.”
