He feels the players will reap the benefit of only the second clear midweek since October 20, during which time we've played 14 matches in all competitions.
In the last break in November, a number of players travelled away for international friendlies.
"We now have a week to prepare and that’s important for us because we haven’t stopped for a month or so," said Andre. "Finally, we have a breather.
"The players can recover and I think you will see us at another level in these next two home games. We have to make the most of it."
The lads were shellshocked after Sunday's defeat at Goodison Park.
Always a serious test, Clint Dempsey fired us into the lead in the 76th minute and it stayed that way until two goals in the space of 90 seconds in injury time completely turned the game around.
"The league is very tight at the moment and if we got the result we wanted at Everton, it would have put us in a very good position," added Andre. "It didn’t happen like that.
"Two home games before the Christmas fixtures is good for us and we have to continue our performance and bounce back.
"We’ve showed good signs of ability to bounce back from adversity and I think we’ll do it one more time."
