Harry Redknapp reported that Aaron Lennon picked up a groin injury in Sunday's goalless draw against Arsenal and has therefore had to withdraw from England Under-21 duty.

The winger was one of four of our players named in Stuart Pearce's squad for Tuesday's friendly against Ecuador to be played at Malaga FC in Spain.

Jamie O'Hara, always a doubt, has also withdrawn due to the hip injury that has kept him out of our last four matches. He was missing again on Sunday.

It means Tom Huddlestone and Fraizer Campbell will be our representatives in the squad.

Aaron was substituted with a few minutes remaining of Sunday's derby draw at the Lane.

Harry said: "Aaron came off with a groin strain. He was struggling with quarter of an hour, 20 minutes to go, wanted to come off but I tried to keep him going as long as we could. He was struggling with it though and he won't be fit to play for the Under-21s."
