Our trio of Croatian internationals take on team-mate Robbie Keane in an international friendly in Dublin tonight.

Vedran Corluka, Niko Kranjcar and Luka Modric are all in the Croatian squad to face Robbie's Republic of Ireland at the new Aviva Stadium in Dublin.

They are four of nine senior players on international duty tonight.

Gareth Bale is in the Wales squad for the friendly against Australia at the Cardiff City Stadium.

Younes Kaboul faces Chile with France in Montpellier while Roman Pavlyuchenko's Russia are up against Serbia in Moscow.

Bongani Khumalo and Giovani dos Santos are further afield. Bongani, now on loan at Reading, is with South Africa for the friendly against Burkina Faso in Johannesburg while Gio takes on the USA in Philadelphia in Jurgen Klinsmann's first match as new US coach.

Young goalkeeper Jordan Archer is in the Scottish Under-21 squad for the friendly against Norway at St Mirren, kick-off 4pm.

Meanwhile, Adam Smith looks set to start again as England face Nigeria in the second round of the FIFA Under-20 World Cup in Armenia, Colombia.

The full-back played in all three group matches as the Three Lions played out three goalless draws against North Korea, Argentina and Mexico.

That was enough to take them through to the last 16 as one of the best third-placed teams in their and they now face Nigeria - the top scorers in the group stages. Kick-off is 11pm UK time.

Unfortunately, midfielder Dean Parrett suffered a groin injury in the final group match against Mexico and will play no further part in the tournament.
