Our Academy squad has made it through to the semi-finals of the prestigious Eurofoot Tournament in Belgium.
Defending the title they won last year, the lads came through a must-win game against Dutch side Willem II to progress to Sunday's last four and a clash against Celtic.
After a fine start to the tournament on Friday, Alex Inglethorpe's side came unstuck against Standard Liege (0-1) and Eintract Frankfurt (1-2) in their opening matches on Saturday before recovering just in time against Willem II, winning 3-0.
Coach Alex reported: "We were disappointed because we had enough chances against Standard Liege and we got caught out by a late goal.
"We went ahead against Eintract Frankfurt through Andros Townsend but then got punished for making two basic errors.
"We needed to beat Willem II and did it comfortably. Danny Rose scored twice, Ryan Mason (pictured) once and that was enough."
The lads kicked-off with two wins out of two on Friday.
Ryan Mason and Yaser Kasim scored inside the first 15 minutes of the opener against KAA Gent - matches in the tournament are played over two halves of 25 minutes - before Jon Obika netted the winner against Germinal Beerschot.
Coach Alex Inglethorpe gave us this report. "We were outstanding against Gent and played some wonderful football" he said.
"Ryan Mason opened the scoring with a fine finish from the edge of the box from Andros Townsend's assist after 10 minutes and Danny Rose set-up Yaser Kasim's first goal in about a year five minutes later.
"Danny was then sent off in what I thought was an incredibly harsh decision but we showed tremendous skill to see out the remainder of the game with 10 men and restrict Gent to one shot from 18 yards.
"We changed things around for the second game and started with a younger team with First Years Josh Ekim, Nathan Byrne and Jake Nicholson all coming into the side.
"We were slightly more sluggish in some of our play but came through 1-0 when Ryan Mason found Jon Obika who applied the finish with about 10 minutes to go.
"It's a great start but it's tough this year. There are some good teams here - the likes of Anderlecht and AZ Alkmaar look strong - but we're in it and it will be a great experience for our younger lads."
