It's been a busy week for some of our players who were out visiting Tottenham Hotspur Soccer Schools, meeting the budding young footballers taking part on our courses.
February half term saw over 900 children in total taking part at 12 venues.
Croatian internationals Niko Kranjcar and Vedran Corluka were on hand to give their top tips and advice to youngsters at Wodson Park Sports Centre in Ware, Hertforshire.
Children were given the chance to get autographs from and photographs with their Spurs heroes, who also took part in Q&A sessions.
When asked by the group for his top tips for making it as Tottenham Hotspur first team player, Corluka said:
"Above all, you all need to make sure you have fun and enjoy your football. Coming on courses like this during the holidays is a great way to have fun as well as learning your football skills. You need to work hard in school, then enjoy your holidays here with the Spurs coaches - then your football will get better and you will do well."
Aaron Lennon was also a great hit when he made an appearance at our new venue in Bushey, Hertfordshire. While waiting for an autograph, seven-year-old Jamie Lewis said: "I'm going to get my shirt signed and tell him he is brilliant!"
Benoit Assou-Ekotto also popped into Chigwell School to share his experiences with the youngsters in attendance.
Tottenham Hotspur Soccer Schools run during every school holiday, as well as evenings during term time. The courses are open to established players or those that are looking to play for the first time. Tottenham Hotspur's team of FA qualified and academy coaches provide the help needed to improve young players in a fun and professional environment.
