Two of our young players helped to put smiles on the faces of people who find themselves in hospital over Easter today (Tuesday, April 11).
Under-23s players Tom Glover and Christian Maghoma paid a visit to Whittington Hospital in North London, along with Under-23s Coach Ugo Ehiogu, to hand out Easter eggs donated by the Club.
The trio made their way around a number of different wards, including the children’s ward, taking time to chat to each patient and their families.
Ugo said: “It was a great experience for our boys to come to the hospital, meet some of the patients and help lift their spirits around Easter.
“We know we have a responsibility to give something back, so to spare a little time and put a smile on people’s faces is a great feeling.”
The Club works closely with Whittington Hospital on a number of health projects run through the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation, including Your Futures – where victims of youth violence admitted to the hospital are referred to the Foundation for one-to-one mentoring and support.
