After a close first half, the team took a grip of proceedings after the break to claim a deserved win thanks to goals from Jo Woodgate, Bianca Baptiste and Mollie Kmita.
It's the perfect start fort the ladies who now prepare for a first home league game of the season against Charlton and Family Fun Day at Ware FC this Sunday.
Sunday's opener started at a frantic pace with few chances but Spurs crucially broke the deadlock when Woodgate hammered home a free-kick from outside the box.
That certainly spurred the team on and it Bianca Baptiste just five minutes in the second half to double the lead, calmly slotting home a one-on-one chance.
The team was now in control and chances followed, with Shannon Maloney and Jenna Schillaci providing the ammunition for Andra Marcoci, Rosie Kmita and Baptiste.
The third goal seemed inevitable and arrived five minutes from time. Baptiste showed pace to break through, her effort was saved but Mollie Kmita was there to convert the rebound.
Manager Karen Hills was naturally delighted. "We couldn't asked for a better start, it’s always ideal to get the three points from the first game and to keep a clean sheet.
"We’ve been working hard throughout the pre-season and it paid off.
"It feels like it’s been a long summer and everyone was excited to get this game started. The girls didn't disappoint. They worked hard from start to finish in all areas of the pitch.
"Credit to our defencde for keeping out a dangerous Chesham forward line. That allowed us to go on and score the three goals.
"Our focus is now to prepare thoroughly in training this week for Charlton on Sunday."
