The ladies defeated Dagenham & Redbridge Ladies 3-2 on Sunday to progress to the second round.
Goals from Zoella Freeman, a Leah Flintham penalty and a winner from Latoyah Johnson mean that Spurs Ladies will now be away for the third time in the competition as they take on Queen's Park Rangers.
The second round match takes place on Sunday 9th November with a 1pm kick off and the ladies will be attempting to reach the third round of the WFA Cup for the first time in nearly five years.
Before the game the team sported pink ribbons on their light blue away shirts as the players are fully behind the 'Wear It Pink' fund raising and awareness campaign to aid breast cancer research. All the players donated their winnings from the match and intend to do the same should they progress even further in the competition.
Captain Jacquie Fearon explained: "It's a cause that is close to all our hearts and the senior squad as a whole have taken the step of backing the 'Wear It Pink' campaign to help the research and make women more aware of the risk of breast cancer. This win puts £250 towards the charity's funds and we will be going all out against QPR to add to that total."
With two big wins and the narrow victory over their Essex rivals in the WFA Cup already, the Ladies hope that their success can help the Breast Cancer Campaign even further.
