Spurs Ladies are top of the South-East Combination after beating title rivals Enfield on Sunday.
Two goals from Sam Pittuck (pictured top) and one each from Bianca Baptiste (pictured below) and Rosi Webb saw Karen Hills' team home 4-1 at Broxbourne.
It means Spurs top the table on goal difference with two games in hand on both Enfield in second and MK Dons in third. Lewes, Norwich City and Luton Town all have games in hand as well and cannot yet be ruled out.
Spurs are in the driving seat after a lightning start against Enfield.
It was 3-0 inside 15 minutes as Pittuck opened the scoring before Baptiste beat both centre-halves, rounded the goalkeeper and slotted home.
Pittuck completed a fine move with a run from deep and finish to make it 3-0.
Full-backs Derrie O'Halloran and Rhya Vyse were heavily involved as Spurs maintained control in the second half.
Enfield struck back to score a consolation with four minutes remaining but Rosi Webb made sure Spurs had the last word with the fourth goal in the final minute, latch onto Emma Kayser's pass and finishing well.
Manager Karen reported: "We had a game plan and that allowed us to dominate midfield and create many opportunties.
"I'm very proud of the girls and couldn't have asked for more from the whole squad.
"We're in the driving seat now but there is a long way to go and we have to continue working hard on the training pitch and stay focused."
As well as competiting for the title, the ladies are in two cup semi-finals.
They take on national side Millwall in the London Cup and face Luton Town in the SE Combination's League Cup.
