Tottenham Hotspur Ladies moved effortlessly into the First Round Proper of the Women's FA Cup with a victory over their local rivals Haringey Borough.
Played on a bumpy and dusty pitch at Haringey Borough Ladies' Coles Park ground, the trip saw Spurs again strike a rich scoring vein.
With a few more efforts on target they could have hit double figures for the third time this season. In the end though, they had to settle for a 7-0 victory with goals from captain Jacquie Fearon, Latoyah Johnson (2), Leah Flintham and a hat-trick from Kehinde Ogunneye.
The win sees them enter the main part of the competition and they will meet old WFA Cup foes Dagenham & Redbridge away on Sunday 26th October, at 2.00 p.m. Dagenham ended Spurs’ hopes in the competition last season so the tie should prove to be an exciting game.
