Ever since the curtain fell on their most successful season last term, players and management alike have focused on going one better in 2015-16.
That means the bar is set high after a fifth-place finish in the FA Women's Premier League South, equalling the club's best run in the FA Women's Cup and reaching a cup final.
One thing was missing. "Last season was special for everyone and we finished on a high - but we had no silverware to show for it and we'd love to put that right this season," said manager, Karen Hills.
"That is our target and motivation this season. We'd also love to match what we did in the FA Cup and get the chance to take on the Women's Super League teams again.
"All the preparation is in place, the players have taken what we've talked about and worked on in pre-season into the friendlies and we all now just want to get going! Everyone is ready and raring to go."
The ladies are unbeaten in pre-season with five wins and a draw last week against Arsenal.
That was their first match at their new home at Cheshunt FC (Theobalds Lane, Cheshunt) and now they kick-off their competitive season with a FAWPL opener against QPR back at Cheshunt FC.
Kick-off is 2pm.
"It will be tough against QPR because no-one wants to lose their first match," added Karen. "I know they've been happy with their pre-season as well, so it should be a good game. We know if we play to our capabilities then we can start positively."
Ticket prices for Spurs Ladies' games at Cheshunt FC are £3 for Non-Member Adults, £1 for Under-16s and it's free for Under-5s. One Hotspur Members can watch Spurs Ladies free throughout next season!
