There were some resounding wins for Spurs Ladies’ sides over the weekend, with no less than 39 goals being scored by the five teams that played. The U-12 Blues recorded the biggest victory of the weekend, beating Cambridge City U-12 11-1 to reach the semi-finals of the League Cup. Goals came from Amy Runciman (3), Louisa Fox (3), Phoebe Guiver (2), Chloe Smith, Samantha Delves (pictured), and Femi Elisery.

There were also League Cup quarter-final victories for the Under-11 Whites, who defeated Garston Ladies 8-1, and the Under-13s, who ran out convincing 9-0 winners against Luton Town.

The Under-16s were faced with a league game against Denham United, but it was another comfortable afternoon for Spurs with goals from Alex Small (4), Shikiera Richards-Lake (2) and skipper Ryah Vyse (2) giving them an 8-0 win.

The Under-10 side were the only Spurs Ladies team to play away from home at the weekend, but they still managed to complete a full set of wins with a 3-1 defeat of Enfield Town.

Sunday’s first team match at Woking was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch, along with the reserve side’s trip to Watford and the Under-15 Blues’ game with Harvesters.
