Freezing conditions allowed just one match to go ahead over the weekend - and what a match it was for the Under-14s, who defeated Enfield Town 8-0 at White Hart Lane Community Sports Ground on Sunday.

Five first half goals by striker Sam Pennington (pictured) put Spurs Ladies U14s on the road to victory before Katie Fray and Laura Newby (2) added second half strikes.

Captain Fray linked well with Pennington for three of the goals and a Spurs side decimated by absences and illness established a good half-time lead.

Into the second period, a burst through the middle saw Fray get on the score-sheet with a goal of her own and two well-taken late goals by forward Newby rounded off a resounding win, taking the girls further clear at the top of the table.
