All the latest news and reports from Tottenham Hotspur Ladies FC.
The first team's match at Northampton Town in the South-East Combination fell victim to the weather and the reserves opened their league campaign with a 4-4 draw against Katabella.
Here are this week's reports with thanks, as always, to Wyart Lane...
SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 7
Tottenham Hotspur Ladies Reserves 4
GLRWFL - DIVISION 2 NORTH
Tottenham Hotspur Ladies Reserves were itching to start their season and within five minutes, new Norwegian midfielder Marit Undheim struck from close range to put Spurs ahead.
With stand-in goalkeeper Shikiera Richards-Lake (pictured right) defying the home attack Katabella had a 15-minute spell when they turned the game around and went into a 2-1 lead, but some half-time changes saw Tottenham take charge of the game and Stavroulla Panayiotou brought the score level. However, less than a minute had passed when the home side regained the lead.
With Spurs dominating, substitute Kirsty Holmes opened up the home defence for Undheim to notch her second goal and then Holmes hit the net to breach the Katabella back line once more.
Unfortunately, Tottenham were unable to convert the many further chances they made and a late lapse in concentration at the end allowed a relieved Katabella to grab a point with the game ending 4-4.
Team: Shikiera Richards-Lake, Charlie Archer (Amanda O'Neill), Mary Griffiths, Laura Allen, Katie Taylor, Stavroulla Panayiotou, Dee Gilbert (Kirsty Holmes), Beth Richards (Lisa McCabe), Marit Undheim, Fiona Butterfield, Natalie Arbuckle.

In the second half, Spurs begun to dominate and a third goal was tapped in by Maya Vio. Hannah Fenton-Burgess was rewarded for her efforts with Spurs' fourth goal followed shortly after by a well-deserved goal from Tia Fogarty to make the score 5-1 and give optimism for the season ahead.

Tottenham Hotspur U13 4
Cheshunt Youth U13 1
A much changed Under-13 side from last season put on a good display in overcoming Cheshunt Youth in a pre-season friendly.
Tight in defence, the first half found the team settling into a pattern of play and a few minutes into the second period, Shanai Jackson opened the scoring for Tottenham. A second followed from Jade O'Brien, who scored from close range and then a long-range dipper from Sam Delves put Spurs 3-0 up.
Cheshunt maintained their shape and took advantage of a mix-up in defence to pull a goal back, but the three-goal advantage was quickly restored as O'Brien hit the net again to secure a confidence boosting 4-1 victory.
Squad: Alison Woodward (c), Rhiannon Bassett, Kathleen Jackson, Shanai Jackson, Xelia Mendes-Jones, Naomi Coulson, Samantha Delves, Lucy Edwards, Rayian Brown, Dot Penders, Shakira Waithe, Helena Scotland, Melody Jones, Jade O'Brien.
