The Under-15s only just made it in time for a delayed kick-off after getting stuck in traffic going to the Johnstone's Paint Trophy Final at Wembley, but shook off the stiff limbs to win 2-1 at QPR in the HCGFL.

Some chances had already gone begging before Renata Inniss hit her 30th league goal of the season, poaching a loose ball following a Nikki Hunnable corner. And the lead was soon doubled as Charlotte Dean's chip over the keeper looked as if it was going in, but Inniss made sure by prodding home from close range.

Sloppy defending allowed Rangers back into the game just before the break, and the second half was much more even with goalkeeper Daisy O'Sullivan doing well to keep the Spurs lead in tact.

The Under-12s stay top of their division after a hard fought 1-0 win away against St. Albans City, while the Under-11s retained their place behind QPR at the top of the table, with opponents Hampstead being unable to field a side.

The two Under-10s teams met at Frederick Knights Sports Ground on Saturday in a HCGFL match, with the Whites emerging victorious 4-0 against the Blues.

Fielding new signing Maia Wallace-Loizou, the Whites pressed forward in the early stages, but good Blues defending kept them out until Kally-Ann Westgarth's shot found the net in the 15th minute. Midfielder Holly Beaumont doubled the lead before half-time with an accurate finish, while Leonie Barrick and Rosie Johnson notched second half goals.

Absences from the Under-13 squad left them facing a full strength Denham United side in the HCGFL, to whom they lost 3-0, and an injury-hit Under-16 Whites side were defeated 9-1 at Hampstead.
