After going five matches without a win, everything clicked into place again in a 5-1 victory against Chesham in the FA Women's Premier League Cup.
Andra Marcoci opened the scoring and goals followed from Wendy Martin, Kim Lane, Ellana Moseley and Rosie Kmita.
Assistant manager, Juan Amoros, reported: "We started slowly but improved as the game progressed.
"The first shot on target was a long-range effort from Andra Marcoci that the Chesham goalkeeper couldn't keep out and we then started to dominate.
"Wendy Martin scored the second goal after great team play and just before half-time, Kim Lane's free-kick was headed back from the far post by Megan Wynne and finished at the near post by Amy Cooper.
"Kim and Robyn Downie were solid in the first half and the midfielders worked tirelessly to control the game.
"In the second half, two of our substitutes added two more goals. Ellana Moseley finished a quick counter-attack and Rosie Kmita scored after a great run and one-on-one with the goalkeeper.
"Chloe Morgan also made some fine saves but was finally beaten late on.
"The players did exactly what we asked of them. We kept up a great intensity and found the back of the net a few times. Five goals from five different goalscorers shows how well we worked."
The result moved Spurs back up to second place in Group One of the League Cup with a home match against Brighton to follow.
Next up for the ladies is a return to FA Women's PL South against Lewes at Ware FC on Sunday week, November 24, kick-off 2pm.
