SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 26

Tottenham Hotspur U11 Whites 2
Enfield Town U11 1
HCGFL - U11 DIVISION 1

A narrow victory for Spurs Ladies Under-11 Whites was hard-earned in a well-contested local derby with Enfield Town in the HCGFL this weekend.

Spurs attacked with Flo Donald and Ronell Humes going close, before Enfield hit Tottenham on the break to go 1-0 into the lead, which they held until half-time.

In the second period, it was all Tottenham and when Humes crossed for Immy Lancaster to drive home, Spurs were then pressing forward for a winner. It was when Lancaster turned provider for Kally-Ann Westgarth to hit a shot past the Enfield keeper that Spurs went ahead for the first time.

Despite a spirited finish, in which the Tottenham defence held out and stand-in goalkeeper Holly Beaumont made a late clearance as a forward honed in on goal, Enfield could not find an equalising goal.

Squad - Immy Lancaster, Izzy Lewis, Carlota Franques, Joely Harris-Tharp, Flo Donald (c), Kally-Ann Westgarth, Mia Farrell, Emily Tibbs, Rosie Johnson, Ronell Humes.

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 27

Tottenham Hotspur U13 4
Enfield Town U13 0
HCGFL - U13 DIVISION 1

Some good use of the width of the pitch saw Spurs stretch local rivals Enfield Town and pave the way for a 4-0 HCGFL win.

Tia Fogarty (pictured below) gave Spurs the lead with a neat piece of finishing to complement Evie Rose's cross, with a second goal coming before the interval from a looping effort from Emma Lee.

The second half saw Enfield come back into the game, but Spurs played through the pressure and used the full-backs to push forward in support of the attack. Maddie Sollof cut inside to place a shot inside the far post and then Fogarty completed a brace of goals with a poacher's goal inside the six-yard box to secure a good win and top spot in the league.

Squad - Kitty Chapman, Jenny Hunnable, Natasha Smits, Emma Lee (c), Evie Rose, Tia Fogarty, Rachel Hands, Tara Sandford, Maya Vio, Poppy Bennett, Christie Page, Maddie Sollof.

HCGFL - U12 DIVISION 1

After a goal-less first half, better finishing from Queens Park Rangers earned the West Londoners the points in this HCGFL meeting at Fred Knights on Sunday.

Spurs Ladies Under-12s put in a good work-rate in the first half and matched Rangers, but neither side could break the deadlock, but into the second half the visitors went 2-0 up from a free-kick and a penalty.

With the heat tiring the players, Rangers capitalised on some slack defending and rounded off a 3-0 defeat for Spurs, despite a late rally.

Squad - Isabel Murphy, Lauren Howland, Alice Simmonds (c), Rosa Gamble, Lara Harris, Rebecca Mills, Rebecca Lane, Elle Baptiste, Ellis Lunn, Jacqueline McLucas, Ronell Humes, Lucy Pelton, Megan Jones

Tottenham Hotspur U15 10
AFC Stevenage U15 1
HCGFL - U15 DIVISION 1

With a third successive big victory, the THLFC Under-15 team ran into double figures with their impressive performance against AFC Stevenage in the HCGFL at Frederick Knights Spots Ground.

Although the score was only 2-0 at half-time, with Stevenage pulling a goal back at 3-1, the game never really looked out of their control, with some slick passing opening up the determined visitors on a regular basis.

With goals from hat-tricks for Sarah Brennan and Katie Fray, two from Bobbi Cubberley and one each from Megan Oates and Sophie Gardiner, the win leaves the Under-15s with their 100% record intact.

Squad - Shoshana Field, Hollie Watson, Megan Oates, Lydia Maher, Charlotte McLucas, Blerta Berisha, Saskia Collins, Vicki Blake, Sam Delves, Katie Fray, Laura Newby, Bobbi Cubberley, Sarah Brennan, Sophie Gardiner, Clara Littlechild.

Flamingoes 1
Tottenham Hotspur Ladies Reserves 1
GLRWFL - DIVISION 1

An early shock, when Flamingoes hit the bar, stirred Tottenham Hotspur Ladies FC Reserves into life and they were well worth their draw on their travels to South London.

A quickly taken corner saw Amanda O'Neill stick the ball away to put Tottenham ahead and the team had further chances to secure all the points, but they were pegged back in the second half, when the invigorated home side equalised for a share of the points.

Team - Ricole Vyse, Dom Clarke, Leesa Shields (Jenny Curtis), Carly Williams, Kerry Daniells, Sasha Kelly, Dee Gilbert, Beth Richards, Laura Gardiner, Sam O'Brien, Amanda O'Neill
