Another defeat, this time at the hands of mid-table Lewes, saw the Spurs Ladies stay in the bottom half of the South-East Combination table.

Without some key players, the girls were left to battle hard to get anything from the game and their best chances came from Nichola Cable and Jessie Richards, but they were unable to get through the Lewes rear-guard.

But a host of scoring chances provided the Reserves with the ammunition to fire six goals past a dogged Katabella side.

Despite first half goals from Natasha Ademakinwa and Sophie Jackson, the visitors hit back twice before the latter struck again to give us a 3-2 half-time lead.

The second half proved more straightforward as Jackson completed her hat-trick and two goals from right wing corners met by headers from Sasha Kelly and Amanda O'Neill (pictured right) sealed a better second 45 minutes for Spurs.

The Under-14s were the pick of the youth teams with a 12-1 victory over AFC Stevenage - a game in which Blerta Berisha (pictured on homepage) grabbed a hat-trick.

And there were also victories for the Under-13 and Under-12 sides at the weekend.
