Tottenham Hotspur Ladies Under-14 Whites came from behind to lift the Home Counties League Cup against Luton Town on Sunday.

Chloe Gunn grabbed the equaliser in the second half, almost won it when she rattled the crossbar in injury time and then turned provider for Lindsey Cockle (pictured right) and Tarn Harris as the girls ran out 3-1 winners.

Here are the latest reports, with thanks as always to Wyart Lane...

HCGFL – U14 CUP FINAL
(After extra time – score at 90 minutes 1-1)

The Spurs Ladies U14s comeback kids did it again to wrest the League Cup from the grip of Luton Town.

Trailing to a free-kick that floated in at the far post, Spurs looked like losing out to a determined Luton side, but a superb individual goal from Chloe Gunn pulled Tottenham level with fifteen minutes remaining and the game went into extra time, although Gunn hit the bar with the last kick of normal time.

Spurs had the impetus though and when Gunn’s long pass in the second minute of the second period of extra time found Lindsey Cockle, she drilled a low shot across the keeper top find the corner of the net.

Luton were now on the back foot and Gunn was the architect once more to set up Tarn Harris for a powerful shot that beat the keeper and took the trophy for Tottenham.

Tottenham started slowly and were caught by two similar moves in the middle of the first half that gave Rangers a 2-0 lead. A better performance in the second half saw the QPR keeper brought into action and although the Spurs goal was narrowly missed by a few shots, Nikki Hunnable came the closest to scoring for Tottenham with a thunderous 25 yard free-kick that rattle the post.
