Spurs Ladies took another step towards the South-East Combination title with a fifth-successive win on Sunday.
They are now eight points clear at the top with four matches remaining after beating Crystal Palace 4-0 at Broxbourne Borough FC.
Sunday's victory made it a profitable week for the ladies with nine points out of nine at such a crucial stage of the campaign.
But the wins came at a cost - prolific striker Bianca Baptiste is out for the rest of the season after suffering a broken ankle in last Wednesday's match at Luton Town.
Sam Pittuck provided the breakthrough against a determined Palace on Sunday, firing in from close range from a corner.
The second goal arrived in somewhat fortuitous circumstances as Ebony Heath's shot cannoned off the post, hit the Palace keeper and bounced home.
Spurs looked to go to their wide players in the second half and it paid dividends with Jenna Schillaci seeing more of the ball down the left. She combined well with Ryah Vyse and it was soon 3-0 with Pittuck grabbing her second goal of the match.
Palace had a couple of opportunities on the break as the ladies struggled to hit top gear but neverthless capped another important win with a fourth goal as Schillaci and Rosi Webb combined to set up a calm finish from Robyn McEvoy.
"The girls had a tough week with the three games and losing Bianca on Wednesday, a massive blow for us," said manager Karen Hills.
"So to get maximum points this week is credit to the whole squad.
"The girls have pulled together and although Sunday wasn't the most convincing performance, we were all delighted with the three points."
The ladies travel to Milton Keynes in the SEC on Sunday.
