The ladies have made it through to the final of the London FA Women’s Cup Final for the first time.
They take on improving team MSA Ladies in the final at Harrow Borough FC, kick-off 7.30pm.
Victory would complete quite a campaign for the ladies. Promoted to the Southern Division of the FA Women’s Premier League last season, they have guaranteed their survival at that level for next season, beat National Division team Watford in the recent League Cup and now have the chance of silverware.
“It’s been a fantastic season and this would be the icing on the cake,” said manager Karen Hills.
“It’s quite an achievement for the girls to have made it through to the London Cup Final for the first time and they deserve it for all the effort they have put in this season.
"We started the season really well, had a bit of a blip but came through that and the girls have been great since the turn of the year. The team spirit is great and we're playing well."
Spurs will be favourites on Thursday night but have already suffered an upset in cup action this season.
“MSA Ladies play a couple of levels below us but we will not be taking anything for granted in the final," she said.
"We've had an upset when we lost to Larkhall in the Women's FA Cup and that showed in cup football, anything is possible on the day.
"We will prepare properly and expect a tough night.
“Hopefully we’ll come through on the night and we’ve so much to look forward to already next season.”
