Spurs have made a fine start to the campaign as well and travel to Wales sitting fourth in the FA Women's Premier League South. Cardiff are second with six wins in seven so far.
The squad were scheduled to head down the M4 at 9am this morning and these long away trips are historically tough - but manager Karen Hills is confident.
"The players are flying at the moment," she said. "We've seen some of our younger players do well in the cup wins against Plymouth and Enfield this week and they are all working hard for each other. There is a great spirit in the squad.
"These longer trips are tough and preparation is vital. Cardiff are a very strong side, always tough to beat in Cardiff but we've been playing well and we're looking for a positive result."
