Now top of Group B after a draw with Russia and win against Wales, England take on Slovakia in Saint Etienne (8pm UK) knowing victory will maintain that first place and set up a last 16 tie against the third-placed team of either Group A, C or D.

Our five players – Dele, Eric Dier, Harry Kane, Danny Rose ad Kyle – have started both matches so far with Eric and Kyle picking up UEFA Man of the Match awards against Russia and Wales respectively.

Roy Hodgson is expected to make changes for the Slovakia game – but there is certainly no chance of the players taking their collective eye off the ball after the dramatic win against Wales.

Kyle, picked out by pundits as one of the players of the tournament so far, stated: “It's still all to play for and the job is far from done yet so hopefully we can go and get another three points on Monday. That won’t be easy but we’re determined to finish top of the group.”

Dele added: “It’s important that we understand that the job isn’t finished yet, we still have to go into the final game and win it – and that’s what we’re looking to do.”
