Kyle Naughton starred in a comfortable victory for England U21s over their Danish counterparts in Viborg on Thursday.
The right-back played a full 90 minutes as Stuart Pearce’s men stepped up their preparations for the summer’s European Under-21 Championships with a 4-0 win.
Kyle, currently on loan at Leicester, made a key contribution on 27 minutes when he cleared off the line from Anders Christiansen to keep the 1-0 lead Danny Welbeck had given the Young Lions intact.
The second half saw England kick on another gear and notch another three goals, with Kyle supplying the ball for Jordan Henderson to round off the scoring on 72 minutes.
Danny Rose, meanwhile, came on as a 67th minute substitute for Scott Sinclair.
The squad now returns to England for another friendly, this time with Iceland U21, at Preston on Monday.
