Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

FA PREMIER RESERVE LEAGUE
Spurs Reserves 2 Ipswich Reserves 0
It seems everything Willem Korsten touches for the reserves turns to gold.
After scoring four goals against Leicester City three weeks ago Korsten broke the deadlock at St Albans on Tuesday night with a goal direct from a corner.
The Dutchman (pictured right) curled home with his left foot over young substitute keeper Tom Neimi and into the far corner with 62 minutes on the clock. It was a vital breakthrough after our second string had dominated the first half without reward only for Ipswich to respond with their best spell of possession at the start of the second half.
The first half started at pace and we were left scratching our heads as to how we failed to score after an amazing penalty area sequence after 10 minutes. Chris Armstrong flicked Simon Davies’ corner on for Gary Doherty to hit the bar with an overhead kick, Armstrong won the rebound in the air only for his header to be hacked off the line and that clearance fell to Doherty whose shot was magnificently clawed out by Mike Salmon in the Ipswich goal.
Five minutes later Salmon bravely collected at the feet of Matthew Etherington in a 50-50 from Dave McEwen’s low cross. It was Salmon’s last taste of the action — he soon departed with a hand injury to be replaced by 17-year-old youngster Tomi Neimi.
Our best spell of pressure followed as McEwen headed just wide from Ian Hillier’s cross, Armstrong volleyed over, Toner’s flick header from Etherington’s cross flashed across goal and Korsten shot wide.
Town responded after 35 minutes when Ian Walker saved low to his right from Justin Miller’s header. Gary Croft’s half-volley then went straight at the keeper.
Armstrong had the last word of the half when he flicked up and half-volleyed over the bar as the scoreline remained goalless.
Town — with first team boss George Burley helping direct operations from the touchline — had their best spell of possession immediately after the break without really testing Walker further.
We then broke the deadlock with our first serious attack of the second half after 62 minutes. Armstrong forced a corner and Korsten whipped a ball in that deceived Neimi and curled over Croft on the line into the far corner.
Three minutes later and Korsten was there again — this time he totally missed Armstrong’s pull back only for it to act as the perfect dummy to Ciaran Toner whose side-footed shot went fractionally wide.
Hillier (pictured) wrapped up the win with eight minutes left. It was all about persistence as first Davies kept the ball in on the touchline and then won a 50-50, Korsten then beat Scales in a 50-50 and as the ex-Spur tackled back the ball fell to fast-arriving Hillier who slammed home at the far post.
Walker kept his clean sheet intact with a fantastic save with five minutes left. Town first team regular Martjin Reuser hit a dipping shot from 25 yards that looked to have him beaten only for Walker to fingertip the ball onto the crossbar.
Spurs Reserves: Walker, Hillier, Thelwell, Gardner, Doherty, McEwen (Gower 75), Davies, Toner, Armstrong, Korsten (Fenn 85), Etherington.
