The left-sided player has started our last seven games since swapping the Valley for Lane, with Chris Perry going the other way. Paul's loan will now run up to and including the Newcastle game on December 13.
"I've enjoyed it so much since I've been here and I'm glad I am staying for another month - hopefully it will end up being longer," reacted Paul.
"I know nothing longer can happen until January and we'll have to wait and see. Hopefully something can happen here and I want it to happen here.
"I think I've done okay and the team has done well, which is a great help for me. The manager and staff have been good and that helps you settle in."
Commuting into training provides no added difficulties for Paul, as he went on to explain.
"It's actually closer for me! I only live 15 minutes from the training ground so it is really easy and I don't have leave early. It is a great place to come to and a massive club for me."
Paul Konchesky is delighted that his loan stint from Charlton has been extended by a further month.
