<P class=MsoNormal><B>FA PREMIER ACADEMY LEAGUE<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p></B><P>Spurs U17s 2 Ipswich Town U17s 3<P class=MsoNormal>Boss Jimmy Neighbour was full of praise for his youngsters after they slipped to this narrow defeat at Spurs Lodge.<P class=MsoNormal>Trailing 2-0 from goals after nine and 41 minutes, the Under-17s showed character to fight back to 2-2 - Lee Barnard converted David Gailbraith&rsquo&#59;s cross after 43 minutes and Ghyslain Vedeux coolly slotted home a one-on-one chance after intercepting a back pass just before the hour.<P class=MsoNormal>Chances then came and went but we were caught by the sucker punch with seven minutes remaining as Town grabbed a late winner.<P class=MsoNormal>Jimmy said: &ldquo&#59;It was a good game of football with both teams passing it well and keeping possession. Unfortunately we just got punished for a couple of mistakes.<P class=MsoNormal>&ldquo&#59;But we kept plugging away, created chances and got back on level terms only for them to go ahead again. We then created three or four more chances after that. The lads deserved something.&rdquo&#59;<P class=MsoNormal><B>Spurs U17s:</B> Burch, Gardner, Herron, Marney, Henry, O&rsquo&#59;Donaghue, Lee (Lambu 68), Thomas, Sutton (Vedeux 68), Barnard, Gailbraith.
