Kids hit QPR for six

Posted on 19 November 2000  - 12:00

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Our Under-17s are on fire at the moment.

After last week’s 5-0 thrashing of Birmingham City they went one better to dish out six of the best against QPR in the FA Premier Academy League on Saturday.

John Sutton (pictured) — who bagged four goals last week — did the business again with two goals with Jimmy Lee, Dean Marney, Ghyslain Vedeux and an own goal accounting for the other four. Spurs were actually 5-0 up inside 25 minutes! The final score was 6-0.

Spurs U17s: Burch, Gardner, Henry (Dhall), O’Donaghue (McKie), Herron, Noto, Hughes, Marney, Lee, Sutton (Slabber), Vedeux.

Our Under-19s also celebrated success in the FA Premier Academy League with a 4-2 win at Reading. Full report to follow next week.

Our FA Youth Cup third round tie against Bradford City will be at White Hart Lane on Tuesday November 28 (7pm). Admission is £4 (adults)/£2 (concessions). If a replay is needed it will be on Tuesday December 12.
