Our reserves aim to take the role of party poopers against Aston Villa at Leyton Orient tonight (Monday, March 30).
Villa will win the Southern Division title of the Barclays Premier Reserve League if they beat us at Brisbane Road.
We are the only team who can stop Villa from taking a second-successive title.
It's a long shot though - we need to win all of our six remaining games to reach a maximum of 34 points but runaway leaders Villa are already on 30 with three games left. Victory tonight would take them onto 33 and we'll only be able to get to 31.
It's a challenge development coach Clive Allen is relishing. "The games against Villa have always been competitive and tonight, understandably, they will be right up for it with the chance to clinch the title.
"We're a number of games behind them but could catch them with a fantastic run, all depending on how tonight goes.
"It gives the match a nice extra edge - we always attack every game with the intention of winning it and we want to continue our winning run.
"We have a mixed group because of the number of players out on loan and away on international duty and it will be a great chance for some of our younger players to show what they can do.
"It's a great test for us and we're all looking forward to it."
Young striker Kudos Oyenuga, an Under-16 player who has scored in successive Academy games, comes into the squad alongside fellow weekend goalscorers Adam Smith and Ryan Mason. In total, 10 of the squad of 17 were in the Under-18 squad for Saturday's 4-1 win at Fulham.
