Full-time: Spurs 3, Aston Villa 0

Added time: Forrester shot well wide from 25 yards.

Added time: Berger's corner somehow zipped all the way across the six-yard line without a touch.

85.01: SAVE - BUTTON. Rocha left backpass a fraction short allowing Albrighton to nip in, angle always against hi though and Button closed space down well to block.

80.21: CLOSE - VILLA. Overhead kick from Salifou looped onto roof of net.

77.21: GOAL - SPURS. Lovely interplay between Martin, Hughton and Fraser-Allen, Hughton fine cross on the run from the right flank turned towards his own goal by Lund, ball would have crept over line but Pekhart made sure.

75.55: SAVE - BUTTON. Lund powered header at goal from 10 yards from Berger's corner, Button sharp reaction save to keep out.

75.27: Berger found Routledge right side of box, cross just in front of Bradley.

66mins: Hogg stretchered off after challenge with Rose.

53.26: SAVE - SORENSEN. Great crossfield pass from Rose, right to left to Taarabt, he ran at Hogg, cut inside, got ball back from Dawkins and hit low shot that Sorensen took diving to his left.

50.41: Martin precise curler from free-kick 25 yards out, not enough power to trouble Sorensen.

43.03: SAVE - BUTTON. Clancy slid in Routledge, right side of box, Button out quickly to close down angle and save with his body.

38.20: CLOSE - SPURS. Martin cleared on edge of box, Parrett picked up ball and spotted Rose clear down the left, pace took him all the way to the box, fired across Sorensen but a yard the wrong side of the post.

35.55: Taarabt nutmegged Hogg on the left, carried ball to the byline, cutback taken by Sorensen.

33.33: GOAL - SPURS. Taarabt cool as you like from the spot - cheeky little dink down the middle as Sorensen dived to his left.

32.45: PENALTY- SPURS. Rose got the better of Lichaj, sped into the box, looked like he might have have taken too heavy a touch but got there first to nick it past Lund, who came sliding in and took legs away.

24.15: Failed to clear our lines defensively and Routledge was away down the right, deep cross came out to Berger, 25 yards out this time, fizzed a shot a couple of yards wide.

20.33: SAVE - BUTTON. Villa's first real chance, Routledge cross found its way to Berger, 18 yards out, firm strike tipped away at full stretch by Button.

15.30: Pekhart showed strength to win ball against Lund, tussle continued all the way into the box when they both went down, nothing awarded either way and Sorensen picked up.

12.27: CHANCE - SPURS. Pekhart won big header in box, Taarabt completed miss-hit shot but ball squirted out to Rose, 16 yards out, volley flew a yard wide.

8.15: GOAL DISALLOWED - SPURS. Parrett clipped in cross from right, Dawkins flicked on and Pekhart looped home header but offside flag up straight away.

4.44: GOAL - SPURS. Taarabt spotted Dawkins' diagonal run between defenders, perfectly-weighted pass gathered by the striker who tricked his way past the advancing Sorensen and slotted home.

4.34: Taarabt turned away from Salifou in own half and powered forward, run of fully 50 yards, pass for Dawkins cut out.

3.12: Parrett cross from right forced scrambling save from Sorensen at his near post.

1.12: CHANCE - SPURS. Martin cushioned volley pass into the box, Rose escaped markers and onto it, didn't get the connection required from close range.
