Kevin: Keep it going

Kevin Bond has stressed the need to keep our momentum going with victory over NEC Nijmegen in the UEFA Cup on Thursday.

After recording our sixth win in eight games against Blackburn in the league on Sunday, the assistant manager believes the positive results must continue no matter what the competition.

And Kevin is expecting an entertaining and open game against an NEC side who he believes will look to take the game to us.

"NEC will be a good side technically and they'll pass it around as all Dutch sides do - they love to play their football," said Kevin.

"But we're a good footballing side and will want to play our stuff as well, so it's a game we're looking forward to.

"We want to keep the winning momentum going and get another positive result, which will hopefully see us qualify for the next round.

"We need to go there, be positive and set out our stall to win the game, although we must have respect for NEC because they've had some good results in the league."
