Kev after positive response

Kevin Bond is looking for 'a reaction' from the team as we return to Premier League action at Blackburn on Wednesday night.

Our assistant manager described Sunday’s 4-0 FA Cup defeat at Fulham as a rare bad day at the office but insisted there was no point dwelling on events at Craven Cottage with another key match just around the corner.

“We’ve not had many bad days, that was certainly one, but we have to put it behind us and look forward,” said Kev after training at Spurs Lodge on Monday.

“We’ve got so much to look forward to. We’ve got important games coming up starting with Blackburn away and we have to push on.

“We need a reaction, a positive result, a positive performance and to get back on another run of unbeaten matches if we can.”

Kevin is well aware that it will be a tough task to do that against a Rovers side currently eighth in the Premier League with only three defeats in 12 league matches so far this term at Ewood Park.

“They are in a good frame of mind at the moment and we’ll need to go there and compete, first and foremost, and earn the right to play,” he added.
