Kerslake - still going strong

Few professional players ever manage to play for the club they love. But David Kerslake managed it with Spurs.

Full-back Kers, with us between 1993-95, had to retire from the professional game due to injury at the age of 30 but has since switched to coaching - starting with our Academy.

"It was a great experience for almost five years, with the club being so close to my heart," David recalls in the March issue of hotspur magazine.

Since then he's worked with fellow ex-Spurs defender Colin Calderwood at Northampton Town and Nottingham Forest - until Calderwood's tenure as manager at the City Ground came to a recent close.

Catch up with David in the latest issue of hotspur, our new-look official magazine that offers so much more for Spurs fans to enjoy.

It's on sale now at £3.45 from all Spurs outlets and newsagents while subscribers have the opportunity to get a full year's subscription for the price of 10 issues with no extra charge for postage and packing. Now that's a bargain!
