Hans Segers gives his assessment of his goalkeeping group's 2005-06 campaign - next up, Radek Cerny...

Radek Cerny: 0 appearances 2005-06; 9 for reserves.

"Radek's a very good goalkeeper. If he went to most clubs in the Premier League he would play, I think he's that good.

"He's on the bench week in, week out but nothing is a problem for him and that's a measure of the guy. He works hard and for me, he's the perfect deputy.

"To have a goalkeeper like him on the bench, someone who you know if he's needed will come on and do the business, is worth a lot.

"When I heard he'd extended his contract it was a blessing, especially with us in Europe next season and hopefully playing more matches, there is every chance he'll play more next season.

"t's crucial to have a good number two and he's exactly that. He showed us what he could so in the Peace Cup in South Korea when he was outstanding."
