Find a shooting session at Spurs Lodge, and you'll find banter.
Whether it's the agony (if you lose) or ecstacy (if you get away with it) of the last-man standing session, where whoever loses has to retrieve balls kicked all over the training ground, or getting derided for taking a bad touch or hitting the corner flag rather than the top corner, you are there to be shot at.
The goalkeepers are also there to be shot at - literally in a footballing sense - and they like nothing better than keeping their team-mates at bay.
So it's no surprise that when Xtra wandered over to take training pictures on Thursday, Heurelho Gomes couldn't resist throwing in: "Goalkeepers are on top today, goalkeepers are always on top. Just watch."
Clive Allen ran the session with Jermaine Jenas, Aaron Lennon and Luka Modric, who fired in shots in different set-ups - dribbling between poles and shooting, taking a touch between poles and shooting, left foot, right foot, volley and then passing from the byline, one-touch control and shoot.
The big question though goes back to Gomes. Were the keepers on top? Xtra's staying neutral on that one...
